Steve Glass

Steve Glass is a retired insurance professional with over 34 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. Over the course of his career, Steve led teams that handled property and casualty claims, auto medical claims, auto bodily injury claims, catastrophe claims and insurance subrogation recovery efforts. He also has experience as an Insurance Subrogation Arbitrator.

Steve began his career in the insurance industry in 1984 as a property and casualty claim representative handling a variety of homeowner’s and commercial claims. In this role, he developed the foundational skills to complete the end-to-end claim handling process. His knowledge and experience includes coverage investigation and analysis, property damage inspection, construction estimatics and investigation and evaluation of third party liability claims.

During his time in claims leadership, Steve acquired additional expertise managing homeowners, commercial property and automobile insurance claims. He also was heavily involved in the supervision of first party and third party litigation activity.

Education 

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Simpson College. 

His insurance Industry designations include Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP).

Accolades 

After his retirement, Steve was selected to serve as a contract arbitrator for Arbitration Forums. Because of his varied experiences in the insurance industry he was certified to hear cases related to property, auto physical damage, PIP/MPC, uninsured motorist and special arbitration.
